Hanover Park MOU

Nestled on the Cape Flats, Hanover Park is a community rich in resilience but burdened by significant challenges. High levels of poverty, unemployment, and gang violence cast long shadows over daily life, shaping an environment where survival often feels like an uphill battle. For many young people, the pressures of this reality lead to cycles of substance abuse, teenage pregnancy and, all too often, involvement in crime.

This is where The Zoe Project steps in—a lifeline of hope and empowerment for Hanover Park. Recognising the urgent need for action, we’ve become a trusted presence in the community, dedicated to tackling the root causes of these struggles and fostering meaningful change.

Our work is more than just offering support; it’s about creating opportunities for growth and transformation. For young people, we provide mentorship programs that inspire, equip, and guide them away from harmful influences and toward brighter futures. Skills development workshops and safe spaces for learning allow youth to reclaim their potential and dream beyond their circumstances.

For women and families, our initiatives focus on maternal health, education, and economic empowerment. We aim to strengthen the very heart of the community by addressing critical needs with compassion and practical solutions.
