Mitchells Plain MOU

One of Cape Town's largest urban areas, Mitchells Plain, is a vibrant and diverse community, but it also faces significant social challenges. High rates of poverty, unemployment, and crime weigh heavily on its residents, with women and young people often bearing the brunt. These systemic issues contribute to complex problems such as teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, and domestic violence, creating cycles of hardship that can be difficult to break.

In response to this pressing need, The Zoe Project has stepped in with a mission to uplift and empower the community of Mitchells Plain. By establishing a strong presence in the area, we are working to provide targeted support and resources designed to address these challenges head-on.

Our programs focus on empowering women and youth, offering opportunities for personal growth, education, and skill-building. We provide access to crucial services such as maternal health support, counselling, and mentorship, helping individuals build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Through partnerships with local leaders and organisations, The Zoe Project aims to create a ripple effect of positive change—helping the people of Mitchells Plain not just survive but thrive. Together, we are breaking barriers, fostering hope, and building a stronger, more resilient community.
